Why maintenance is the most overlooked thing in Baja
Baja water is harder on filtration equipment than US municipal water. Higher mineral loads mean carbon stages saturate faster. Higher sediment means prefilters clog faster. Heat in tinacos encourages bacterial regrowth. Intermittent supply forces systems through pressure cycles that loosen fittings over time.

On every visit we change due filters, check inlet and outlet pressure, swap UV lamps when their hours are up, run a TDS check on RO output, and inspect the full system for leaks, scale, or wear. You get a written service report after each visit.
